In 2010, she received her BFA in Performance from Naropa University where she trained in Contemplative Dance Practice, Dharma Art, Mary Overlie's Viewpoints practice, Mudra Space Awareness, Suzuki, improvisational performance techniques, and ensemble group process. She was introduced to Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche's teachings of Sacred Warriorship and Crazy Wisdom and after 300+ hours of meditation training took their Buddhist Refuge Vows in the winter of 2012. Their journey has been deepened through the experience of Deep Grief & Dark Night of the Souls, clown work, and in all of their performance processes.

In 2015, she earned her M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology through Sofia University where she focused her education on Creativity & Innovation, Transformational Life Coaching, and Women's Spirituality. They also offered classes for women based on CDP to come together and explore their inner process through body awareness & movement, guided meditation, sacred play, shadow work, and awakening the heart.

Since 2018, Caitlin has been redefining their identity, and within that journey, redefining their position within their own research and communities. In 2024, they became a PhD Candidate at CIIS and began their research study on Contemplative Dance Practice with dreams of defending their dissertation in Spring of 2026.
